About the Course

This course addresses the ethnic and racial groups that have historically and presently demonstrated a pattern of educational disparities in the U.S. educational system. The course material covers relevant research and theory to inform an understanding of educational disparities and strategies to redress them. The article specifically examines the educational gap of African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, and Southeast Asian groups relative to Whites and other Asian Americans.

He draws upon his years of expertise as a practicing psychologist, administrator, researcher and technologist to help universities evaluate their programs to implement, meet, and maintain CACREP standards.

Target Audience

This course is recommended for health care professionals, especially psychologists, counselors, and social workers who seek knowledge to understand ethnic and racial minority groups educational disparities . It is appropriate for intermediate to advanced levels of participants' knowledge.
