About the Course

She is am an integrative therapist who focuses on brief, positive, solutions-focused therapy and is experienced in treating a variety of mental health concerns-- depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, parenting concerns, and more. She is currently practicing in Alaska.

Learning Objectives

After taking this course, you should be able to:

  1. 1 Describe cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and psychodynamic therapies in the treatment of depression.
  2. 2 Discuss the use of psychotherapy and medication in the treatment of depression.
  3. 3 Describe interpersonal and social rhythm therapy (IPSRT) and family focused treatment (FFT) in the treatment of bipolar disorder.
  4. 4 Discuss the use of psychoeducation in the treatment of bipolar disorder.
