About the Event

A common challenge clinicians face is not knowing how to identify the signs of when their clients are triggered and not knowing how to respond with effective interventions. This webinar will discuss multiple evidenced-based interventions any mental health provider can utilize when clients experience arousal dysregulation and acute distress to support stabilization. Dr. Fatter will review specific observable indicators that their clients are in a state of hyperarousal or hyperarousal. In addition, specific evidenced -based interventions will be reviewed to address common hyper-arousal and hypo-arousal symptoms. The value of the therapeutic relationship in the context of effective trauma treatment will be explored. Dr. Fatter will discuss ways to apply an evidenced-based phase-oriented treatment approach to trauma treatment to help organize clinical treatment plans to support arousal regulation. This webinar will also address adjunctive therapies to help support stabilization. There will be opportunities for participants to experience and practice some of these tools themselves. This presentation will be interactive and experiential. Clinicians at any stage of their career will benefit from this webinar.

Live Event This is a live online event. It will be conducted via Zoom Webinar.
