About the Event

Many therapists encounter clients who remain dysregulated at the end of sessions, struggle with overwhelming anxiety or emotional numbness, or seem unable to access the benefits of traditional talk therapy approaches. These presentations often reflect underlying nervous system dysregulation that requires body-based interventions to help clients find safety and presence in the therapeutic relationship. This 3-hour training provides therapists with five evidence-based nervous system regulation tools that can be immediately integrated into any therapeutic modality, regardless of your theoretical orientation or prior somatic training experience.

Participants will learn practical, easy-to-implement interventions for hypervigilance, panic and anxiety, dissociation, trauma responses, and strategies for building therapeutic safety. Each tool will be demonstrated, practiced experientially, and adapted for diverse client presentations including trauma survivors, individuals with anxiety and depression, and those struggling with emotional dysregulation. By the end of this training, you'll have five concrete techniques you can confidently use in your very next session to help clients regulate their nervous system, enhance therapeutic engagement, and improve treatment outcomes across all populations you serve.

This is a live online event. It will be conducted via Zoom Webinar.
