About the Course

As our country continues to take in refugees from around the world, mental health professionals and social service agencies have opportunities to help our new neighbors successfully adjust to life in America. Pipher challenges the relevance of western therapeutic approaches in working with refugees, encouraging us to become cultural brokers for our new citizens.

This course is based on the book, The Middle of Everywhere 1st Edition created by Mary Pipher, Ph.D.
