About the Course

This book provides casebook examples of the supervision process at work. The course questions explore facets of the theoretical models associated with clinical supervision. The course provides practical knowledge for both supervisors and supervisees about the the nature of clinical supervision, and how it can be practiced more effectively. The course material provides strong case examples and dialogue that illustrates the theoretical approaches.

This course is based on the book, Casebook for Clinical Supervision: A Competency-Based Approach created by Edward P. Shafranske, PhD, ABPP et al in 2009.

Edward P. Shafranske, PhD, ABPP

Dr. Shafranske is professor of psychology and director of the doctoral program in clinical psychology at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Shafranske is a sought-after lecturer and has published multiple books. He also maintains a private practice in clinical psychology.

Carol A. Falendar, PhD

Dr. Falendar is an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University and clinical professor at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a renowned expert in the field of clinical supervision.
