About the Course

Many adults with ADHD experience professional underperformance, higher stress levels, and increased work absences compared to their peers. This course explores the lived experience of working with ADHD, focusing on stress, work-related mental health challenges, and the need for organizational support and accommodations. Drawing from a qualitative study, it highlights both the specific difficulties and unique strengths reported by adults with ADHD in the workplace.

This course is based on the reading online article, Stress and Work-related Mental Illness Among Working Adults With ADHD created by Martin Oscarsson, PhD student et al in 2022.
