About the Course

Phone Coaching in Dialectical Behavior Therapy is the first comprehensive guide on this topic. Alexander L. Chapman, PhD, Rpsych, is a Professor and Clinical Science Area Coordinator in the Department of Psychology at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. He is also the president of the DBT Centre of Vancouver and a DBT Trainer and Consultant with Behavioral Tech. He is the author of numerous scientific publications, presents widely at scientific conferences, and is on the editorial boards of Personality Disorder: Theory, Research, and Treatment, Journal of Personality Disorders, and Behavior Therapy.

Target Audience

Counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychologists and social workers. This course is appropriate for all levels of knowledge. This content is at an intermediate level.

  7. 7 Summarize how clinicians can observe their limits in DBT phone coaching.
