About the Course

This course examines opioid overdose as it relates to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE). It includes: an outcome variable, ACEs variable, control variables, bivariate findings, tests for linearity and multicollinearity, multiple logistic regression findings, and sensitivity analyses. This is an easy to understand methodology intensive course.

Dr. Tschampl is a Scientist at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and has 20 years' experience with U.S. and global health, starting with a policy and advocacy background. Dr. Tschampl’s research involves both quantitative and qualitative research methods with specialization in economic evaluations, such as cost-effectiveness and cost-offsets analyses. Her work has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals
Melisa Canuto, MSW, LICSW
Melisa manages implementation and practical application of Casa’s Integrated Care Model and oversees programming, services, and staffing at Familias Unidas Outpatient Clinic. She has an interest in working with marginalized communities and advocating for social justice.
