About the Course

This systematic review and meta-analysis investigates the effectiveness of digital Positive Psychology Interventions (PPIs) in promoting well-being and reducing ill-being among children, adolescents, and young adults. Drawing from 35 controlled trials, the study evaluates the outcomes of PPIs, which focus on enhancing positive psychological states such as gratitude, hope, and compassion, while reducing negative emotions and stress. The findings suggest that digital PPIs can significantly improve well-being and alleviate ill-being symptoms, particularly in younger populations. The study highlights the potential of digital platforms to deliver accessible mental health interventions at scale, while emphasizing the need for more targeted approaches.

This course is based on the reading online article, Application of Positive Psychology in Digital Interventions for Children Adolescents and Young Adults created by Sundas Saboor, MBBS, MPH et al in 2024.
