Shireen L. Rizvi, Ph.D., ABPP, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at Rutgers University. She specializes in improving outcomes, training, and dissemination of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) for complex cases. Dr. Rizvi is board certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She has trained practitioners worldwide and is a past president of the International Society for the Improvement and Teaching of DBT. She has received several awards, including the Spotlight on a Mentor Award and the Presidential Fellowship for Teaching Excellence from Rutgers.
