About the Course

This narrative explores the benefits of journaling in clinical practice. Journaling is often coined as expressive therapy, and in recent years has become a tool that can help with a positive mental health outlook, deeper sense of gratitude, and managing and regulating emotional responses to trauma and stress. We will cover research over the years, how therapists can integrate journaling in their practice, and the types of journals one can utilize.

This course is based on the recorded webinar, Journaling In Clinical Practice created by Anjali Mani, LSW et al. in 2025.
