About This Approval

Impact CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for MFT’s and CPC’s as set forth by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists & Clinical Professional Counselors

Continuing Education requirements are prorated based on original license issue date.

Original license issue date before 1/1/2024 or between 1/1/2024 & 6/30/2024:

40 continuing education hours are required including 6 hours in ethics, 4 hours in suicide & 6 hours in cultural competency. A maximum of 20 hours can be non-interactive.

Original License Issue date between 7/1/2024 & 12/31/2024:

30 continuing education hours are required including 6 hours in ethics, 4 hours in suicide & 6 hours in cultural competency. A maximum of 20 hours can be non-interactive.

Original license issue date between 1/1/2025 & 6/30/2025:

20 continuing education hours are required including 2 hours in ethics, 2 hours in suicide & 6 hours in cultural competency. Can be interactive or non-interactive.

Original License issue date between 7/1/2025 & 12/31/2025:

10 continuing education hours are required including 2 hours in ethics, 2 hours in suicide & 6 hours in cultural competency. Can be interactive or non-interactive.

If the licensee is an approved supervisor, at least two hours of the CEU requirements must be on issues specifically pertaining to the supervision of the field of practice of the approved supervisor.
