About the Course

This text uncovers and examines the increase in sexual and violent crimes committed by children under the age of twelve. It gives diagnostic and demographic information for students who may work with violent children. This text will provide anyone who works with child, adolescent, and adult violence insight to the early signs of violence in children and how the proper diagnosis and treatment can help prevent the continuation of violence

Dr. Glicken is the former Dean of the Worden School of Social Service in San Antonio, California, the founding director of the Master of Social Work Department at California State University, San Bernardino, and the past former Executive Director of Jewish Family Service of Greater Tucson.

Dr. Glicken received his bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Dakota. He holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, and the Master of Public Administration and Doctor of Social Work degrees from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honorary Fraternity.
