About the Course

This course is an update to TIP 49 including new findings in literature for incorporating alcohol pharmacotherapies. The results are listed by year and then by drug. It includes findings on: disulfiram, oral naltrexone, extended-release injectable naltrexone, acamprosate, combined medication therapy, matching patient to treatment, interviews with a national sample of 223 administrators of privately funded substance abuse treatment programs, and quetiapine. This is a research intensive course.
