It includes: depressive disorders Bi-polar I Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), feeding and eating disorders, substance-related disorders, cross-cutting topics: suicide and trauma, including combat related trauma.

Learning Objectives

After taking this course, you should be able to:

  1. 1 Acknowledge the importance treating COD and how it relates to substance use.
  2. 2 Identify the shared symptoms, as well as symptoms specific to use, withdrawal and persistent withdrawal.
  3. 3 Summarize the determining factors of independent COD versus substance induced mental disorders.
