About the Course

The 21st Century has brought innovations that require therapists to consider confidentiality, record keeping, and boundary controversies especially in this time of online therapy during and post the covid epidemic. This workshop will address therapist competency, working across state lines, expectations of privacy working online, required informed consent, record keeping, and reputation protection. Literature updates, expert opinions, and relevant ethics codes will be discussed.

This course is based on the recorded webinar, Reach Out and Shrink Someone-Clinical Practice in the Age of Technology created by Pamela Harmell, Ph.D. in 2023.
