  2. 2 Identify the impact of using or not using evidence-based interventions on the effectiveness, cultural relevance, and engagement in substance use disorder treatment for American Indians and Alaska Natives.
  3. 3 Discuss the role of motivational interviewing in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy in treatment for substance use disorder among AIAN communities.
  4. 4 Evaluate the overall efficacy of motivational interviewing + Skills Training; (MIST) as implemented in this research study.
