About the Course

This course addresses the requirement that licensed psychologists in Tennessee review the following:
1) Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 63, Chapter 11; and
2) Official Compilation, Rules and Regulations of the State of Tennessee, Chapters 1180-1, 1180-2, 1180-3, and 1180-4.

There is a separate course (#102974) that meets the ethics requirement (the “Ethical Standards” which are part of the “Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct” published by the American Psychological Association (APA).

This course is based on the reading online article, Tennessee Board of Examiners in Psychology Rules and Regulations: Tennessee State Code Rules Regulations Related to the Practice of Psychology created by State of Tennessee in 2024.
