About the Event

Mental health professionals often experience a range of emotions when working with trauma and dissociation. Many feel a deep sense of empathy and compassion for their clients, recognizing the profound impact of trauma. However, the complexity and intensity of trauma and dissociative symptomology can also lead to feelings of frustration, helplessness, or overwhelm. Trauma and Dissociation: Navigating the Complexities in Clinical Practice offers an in-depth exploration of the connection between trauma and dissociative disorders. This session will support mental health clinicians in working effectively with trauma and dissociation- highlighting the complexities of each of these conditions, learning how to establish a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, and learning grounding techniques and stabilization strategies essential for managing acute symptoms and promoting client safety. This training will equip professionals with practical tools and approaches to enhance their therapeutic interventions and support clients.

Live Event This is a live online event. It will be conducted via Zoom Webinar.
