Addiction Specific Law & Ethics
CAADE requires that nine (9) continuing education credit hours of addiction specific law and ethics be earned as part of the 40 credit hours required every two years. The following courses are available to help fulfill that requirement.
Clinical Supervision
Certified Clinical Supervisors (CCS) must earn 6 continuing education credit hours specific to Clinical Supervision. The following courses are available to help fulfill your requirement.

About This Approval
Our distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for addiction counselors as set forth by CAADE. Please note that CAADE will only accept distant learning courses that are 8 credit hours or less.
CATC
Certified Addictions Treatment Counselors must obtain 40 hours of continuing education credit hours every 2 years. Nine (9) hours of addiction-specific Laws and Ethics must be included as part of the 40 credit hours every 2 years.
