About the Event

Sexual minority relationships encompass a diverse range of gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship structures that challenge heteronormative assumptions. This continuing education course provides clinicians with foundational knowledge and practical tools for delivering culturally informed and ethically sound relationship interventions for these populations.

Grounded in sexual minority theory, queer theory, and affirmative practice frameworks, the course presents clinical strategies to improve cultural competence, increase bias awareness, and uphold ethical standards while navigating legal and sociopolitical contexts. Participants will learn strategies to support partners in navigating stigma, discrimination, and unique relationship dynamics, while also enhancing cultural strengths.

Live Event This is a live online event. It will be conducted via Zoom Webinar.
