About the Course

This course introduces participants to the core principles, functions, and frameworks of administrative clinical supervision.  It prepares administrative supervisors to design, implement, and evaluate a standardized clinical orientation plan as well as discussing how to apply structured administrative oversight, evaluate performance using objective metrics, and implement corrective actions when necessary.  Supervisors will learn the importance of fostering strong interpersonal dynamics and delivering effective feedback.  We will also cover ways to track outcomes, gather meaningful feedback, and use insights to refine orientation procedures and administrative supervision practices.

This course is based on the reading online article, Administrative Clinical Supervision created by Lisa Shelton et al in 2026.
