About the Course

Beginning with a solid grounding in theory and empirical work, this book ultimately focuses on practical therapeutic issues regarding women and girls. Themes that emerge from qualitative focus groups and clinical interviews with women and girls serve as a framework to showcase what a diverse collection of women and girls have to say about their anger in their own words. You will find a rich and human description that brings life to girls and women’s anger experiences.

Deborah Cox is a licensed psychologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Guidance and Counseling at Southwest Missouri State University. Dr. Cox has extensive experience in providing psychotherapy and psychoeducational outreach programs for girls, women, and families. Her current research is on gender issues, anger, and emotional development.
