About the Course

Recorded live at a therapists’ training workshop, with actors reenacting an actual case, Dr. Heitler shows how to handle challenging therapy situations. The therapy situations range from resolving a specific dilemma faced by a healthier couple to helping couples whose entrenched conflict patterns yield continual distancing, depression, or strife. These lively and informative tapes are ideal for training in marital and family therapy, for peer consultation sessions, for practitioners of individual therapy who want to expand their practices by offering couple treatment, and for busy clinicians who use audiotapes while driving to upgrade their treatment skills.

This course is based on the cassette, Working With Couples in Conflict (2 Audio) created by Heilter, Susan, Ph.D.
