Mandatory Requirements
These hours count toward your 10 CE credit hours, but must cover specific content.
Suicide
Six (6) hours of continuing education in suicide assessment, treatment, and management every six (6) years.
Kentucky Law
Required every renewal - continuing education on the law for regulating professional counseling, KRS 335.500 to 335.599 and 201 KAR Chapter 36 -We do not offer a course that meets this requirement.

- LPCC Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- LPCA Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA)
- LPCC-S Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor With Supervision (LPCC-S)
Each requires 10 CE credit hours to renew.
About This Approval
Impact CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for LPC’s as set forth by the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors.
10 credit hours during your annual license renewal.
3 Hours Domestic Violence for your first 3 years of Licensure.
3 Hours Kentucky Law every 3 years.
CE Learning Systems has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5951. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CE Learning Systems is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

6 Hours Suicide Assessment, treatment, and management within the first year of licensure and every six (6) years thereafter.
We do not currently offer a course that meets the Kentucky Law requirement.
