Credentials This Covers

Every credential below carries the same requirements.

  • LCADC Licensed Clinical Alcohol And Drug Counselor (LCADC)
  • LGADC Licensed Graduate Alcohol And Drug Counselor (LGADC)
  • CAC-AD Certified Associate Counselor – Alcohol And Drug (CAC-AD)
  • CSC-AD Certified Supervised Counselor – Alcohol And Drug (CSC-AD)

Each requires 40 CE credit hours to renew.

About This Approval

License renews every two years on February 1st.

40 credit hours required per renewal period. At least 30 hours must be in “Category A” activities. Not more than 10 hours maybe in “Category B activities.”

Our courses are Category A courses and can be used for all 40 credits.

CE Learning Systems has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5951. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CE Learning Systems is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
