Impact CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for MFT’s, LCSW’s, LPC’s, as set forth by the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners.
40 credit hours by December 31 of even years
40 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses.
licensed social workers must receive at least one hour of continuing education in suicide assessment,
treatment and management treatment, which may be completed virtually, as a portion of the required
40 hours of continuing education.
This requirement applies to the renewal cycle that began January 1, 2025 and closes December 31, 2026.
Impact CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
