Approval for Psychologists in Texas

Impact CE’s distant learning courses meet qualifications for continuing education credit for LMHC’s as required by the Texas Board, and is fully compatible with Texas’s CE Broker system. Simply enter your Texas state license code using the link provided in your member account.

24 hours of continuing education and pass the jurisprudence examination during each renewal period they hold a license.

A licensee must complete at least six hours of continuing education in ethics each renewal period. Completion of the jurisprudence examination will count as one hour of continuing education in Texas LPC ethics. A licensee must also complete 3 hours in cultural diversity or competency.

Our courses meet the Texas 50% rule.

A licensee holding the supervisor status must complete 6 hours of continuing education in “supervision”.

All licensees are required to undergo an HHSC approved human trafficking prevention training course as a condition of renewal, in accordance with Chapter 116 of the Occupations Code. We do not offer a course that meets this requirement. Approved training courses can be found on the Health Care Practitioner Human Trafficking Training webpage.
