  • CASUDC Certified Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counselor (CASUDC)
  • SUDC Licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC)

Each requires 40 CE credit hours to renew.

About This Approval

Licensure Renewal

asynchronous distance learning course that is not real-time and interactive, up to a maximum of:
(A) eight hours for a CSUDC or CASUDC; or
(B) 15 hours for a SUDC or ASUDC
Six hours shall be in ethics/law, and two hours in suicide prevention.

Our distant learning course credits are accepted by the UDOPL. Our courses meet the 5 qualifications required for renewal CE hours.

Initial Licensure
Currently education hours for initial licensure must be formal classroom hours.
