Approval in Texas

Impact CE’s distant learning courses meet qualifications for continuing education credit for LCSW’s as required by the Texas Board, and is fully compatible with Texas’s CE Broker system. Simply enter your Texas state license code using the link provided in your member account.

30 hours of continuing education during each renewal period

At least **6 of the hours obtained must be in the area of professional ethics and social work values and 3 hours in cultural competency.
For supervisors, at least **3 of the hours must be in the area of supervision theory, skills, strategies, or evaluation. These hours may be counted toward the total number of hours required.

NOTE: Effective January 1, 2024, at least half of the 30 hours must be obtained from a provider listed in 781.501(f). CE Learning Systems and CE-Credit fall under item 8 of of 781.501(f), 100% of your renewal credits can be earned on CE-Credit.com

All licensees are required to undergo an HHSC approved human trafficking prevention training course as a condition of renewal, in accordance with Chapter 116 of the Occupations Code. Approved training courses can be found on the Health Care Practitioner Human Trafficking Training webpage. (We do not offer this training.)
