Mandatory Requirements

These hours count toward your 24 CE credit hours, but must cover specific content.

Prevention of Human Trafficking

Licensees must complete a training course on human trafficking that is approved by the Health and Human Services Commission. Up to a maximum of 2 CE hours are pre-approved for a training course on human trafficking. Additional CE credit may be earned for a training course exceeding 2 hours if the additional hours meet the requirements of Chapter 367 on Continuing Education. Jurisprudence Exam

Every credential below carries the same requirements.

  • OT Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • OTA Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)

Each requires 24 CE credit hours to renew.

About This Approval

All licensees must complete a minimum of 24 CE hours every two years during the period of time the license is current in order to renew the license. Licensees must provide proof of completion of contact hours at the Board’s request. A license may be renewed up to three months prior to the expiration date.
