Kansas State Board of Healing Arts - Physical Therapy CE Information

Accepted Approvals

APTA New York State Education Department's State Board for Physical Therapy

As a condition of renewal for each odd-numbered year, each licensed physical therapist shall complete at least 40 hours of continuing education. Each licensed physical therapy assistant shall complete at least 20 hours of continuing education.

Each licensee is required to successfully complete the Kansas Jurisprudence Assessment Module (KS JAM) during each continuing education cycle. One contact hour shall be awarded for successful completion. Register here: https://www.fsbpt.org/Our-Services/Jurisprudence-Assessment-Module

NOTE: The Board does not pre-approve courses. While it is our understanding that our courses meet the Board requirements for acceptable continuing education, it is ultimately up to the licensee to select courses that are in their scope of practice and meet any other requirements put forth by the Board.
