Indiana Professional Licensing Agency - Physical Therapy Board CE Information

Accepted Approvals

APTA New York State Education Department's State Board for Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy licenses and Physical Therapy Assistant certifications expire on June 30 of even-numbered years.

The Board requires all licensees to have completed twenty-two (22) hours of continuing education activities for the biennial renewal period

Two (2) hours must be in an ethics and Indiana jurisprudence course as it relates to the practice of physical therapy.

Hours must be obtained within the renewal period and cannot be carried over from one renewal period to another.

If a license or certification has been valid for less than twelve (12) months, no continuing education hours are required for renewal.
