Any presentation related to the OTPTAT Board’s Safe Haven program counts toward this requirement. About This Approval
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS/OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANTS
Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapist Assistants are required to complete a minimum of 20 continuing education hours per 2 year renewal period.
- At least 1 hour must address ethics/jurisprudence/cultural competence. Licensees can meet the ethics requirement by successfully passing the Occupational Therapy Jurisprudence Exam for renewal: https://otptat.ohio.gov/occupational-therapy/continuing-education/ot-jurisprudence
- At least 1 hour must address mental health or substance use. Any presentation related to the OTPTAT Board’s Safe Haven program counts toward this requirement.
