At least 10 hours must be in person (Our courses do not count as in person) 2-4 hours maximum CPR (Basic or Advanced Support - every 2 years through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or an equivalent program) In person Minimum of 1-hour Infectious Disease Control (related to the practice of dentistry or to the dental office) - annually Minimum of 1-hour of Prescribing Controlled Substances annually. OCS permit only - minimum of 2 hours of sedation and/or anesthesia annually (ACLS/PALS as a requirement added by Board) Maximum of 4 hours annually of insurance, government regs, and tort liability and/or risk management Maximum 3 hours annually of practice management. Half of all CEs must be attributed to practice of dentistry 1 hour annually of ethical considerations in the practice of dentistry
