Impact CE's distance-learning courses meet the continuing education requirements of the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry, accepted under our ADA CERP approval.
These hours count toward your 30 CE credit hours, but must cover specific content.
Dentistry
No more than 50% of the required credits may be taken through online/individual study. A live webinar continuing education (C.E.). course is considered a lecture. This only applies to courses that are conducted as live, real-time sessions. 2 hours of Act 31 Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training from an approved provider 2 hours of Act 124 Opioid continuing education (If you do not have a DEA registration and do not use another person or entity’s DEA registration to prescribe any controlled substances, you do not need to complete the Opioid CE.) Current Infant, Child and Adult CPR. Courses for certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) must be hands-on and cannot be applied toward fulfillment of the C.E. requirements Anesthesia Unrestricted - 15 hours of Board-approved continuing education in courses related to general anesthesia and deep sedation (no exemption) Restricted I – 15 hours of Board-approved continuing education courses related to conscious sedation. (No exemption)
