About the Course

TIP 63 provides a clinical overview of three FDA-approved medications for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) as well as addresses other strategies useful in the management of this condition. It is divided into 5 parts. The first provides a general overview to the medications used in treating OUD. Part 2 addresses OUD in medical care settings, while Part 3 focuses on more detailed information regarding medication management of OUD. Part 4 is for healthcare and addiction treatment professionals, and focuses on facilitating an interdisciplinary team approach to helping patients diagnosed with OUD. Finally, Part 5 provides resources related to OUD medications. This course is part 3 of a 3 part series.
