About the Course

This course explores how to build effective prevention plans by integrating the Six CSAP Strategies with evidence-based interventions, using SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) as a guide. Topics include the CSAP Six Strategies, applying the SPF to logic models, aligning strategies with SPF steps, selecting evidence-based interventions based on conceptual fit and strength of evidence, and understanding the Spectrum of Behavioral Health Services (2019). The course emphasizes practical tools and planning steps for impactful prevention design.

This course is based on the recorded webinar, Tools for the Trade-Layering the Six CSAP Strategies for Impact - created by Susannah Burt in 2024.
