Idaho Physical Therapy Board (Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses) CE Information

Provider

APTA Florida Board of Physical Therapy 50-315

The Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL) provides consumer protection and public safety through its regulation of more than 204,000 licensees within more than 48 Boards and Commissions in the State of Idaho.

Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants must complete 32 CE hours every 2 years as a condition for renewal. The Board requires continuing education courses to be “integrally related and germane to the practice of the profession,” and “relevant to physical therapy.”

Continuing education courses do not require pre-approval by the Board. If you have a question as to whether or not a course would meet the criteria you may submit an application for board review. Guidelines for acceptable CE credits can be found in the Rules: https://dopl.idaho.gov/pht/pht-statutes-rules-and-guidance/

Proof of completion must be provided to the board upon request.
