Impact CE's distance-learning courses meet the continuing education requirements of the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy, accepted under our New York State Education Department's State Board for Physical Therapy approval.
These hours count toward your 30 CE credit hours, but must cover specific content.
Every credential below carries the same requirements.
Each requires 30 CE credit hours to renew.
The SC Board of Physical Therapy Examiners regulates physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in the state of South Carolina.
A licensed PT or PTA shall earn 30 CE hours per biennium period.
PTs and PTAs licensed in South Carolina are not subject to this requirement for the first biennium renewal period in which they are initially licensed.
Each licensee shall be responsible for maintaining continuing education records and these records shall be subject to a random audit by the Board to assure compliance.
